Gather Community Church started with a small group of believers committed to transformational discipleship through gospel hospitality. We believe that when we open up not just the doors of the church, but the doors of our homes, we find new ways to share the gospel with our neighbors, friends, and families. Biblical Authority
God’s Word always gets the final word. We do not exercise authority over it, but we realize it exercises authority over us, not to domineer, but to bring abundant life.
Radical Hospitality
More often than not, transformation starts in living rooms, coffee shops, and front porches before it ever moves into a sanctuary. We want to be people who open our homes and our lives to share God’s love with those around us.
Deep Community
What if it was weird to not connect? We want our default mode to be community which includes regularly sharing meals, burdens, and life with those pursuing Christ. We want to be genuinely known by those around us.
Bold Humility
Pride insidiously works its way into every area of our lives. It breaks unity in the church and between believers as well as putting false barriers between people and Jesus. So we seek to be humble and charitable while remaining bold in matters of truth.
Committed to the Gospel of Jesus Christ
The Gospel is the good news that there is no distance too great for God to bridge. Jesus lived the perfect life we could not live, died the death our sin deserved, and rose from the dead to prove that he is the only way to the life that is truly life. This is clearly revealed in the Scripture, and should be shown in every area of our daily lives as we seek to share this good news with the World!
